“Nothing Less Than Justice:” Amber Lashbaugh ’26 on Supporting Women in Recovery

Amber Lashbaugh (MS ’26) recently published an article on supporting women in recovery for Ms., a national feminist magazine.

In honor of National Recovery Month, Amber investigates the specific issues women face when seeking support for substance use disorders, breaking down five crucial ways to improve current policies. “Women with substance use disorder deserve nothing less than justice,” she asserts, “[and] until our policies reflect that truth, the numbers [of overdose deaths] will keep rising.”
